ACCELERATE FOR GROWTH (A4G)
A4G is Good Food Accelerator’s annual cohort program, running for more than 10 years! This is our second-level cohort, created for food and beverage businesses ready to grow.
After being in business for a while, it’s time to think about how to scale your business. A4G is our more advanced, 3-month program that helps you take a close look at five areas of your business: leadership, operations, sales, financials, and marketing. The course material is taught by industry experts, and you will learn alongside a tight-knit group of fellow founders. Like G2M, all cohort participants are paired with mentors who provide additional support and insight.
What to expect:
1. 3-month program
2. Weekly classes on Wednesday mornings from 10am-2pm
3. Learn alongside and network with other food and beverage founders in the Chicago area
4. Gain business education and guidance in finance, marketing, sales, operations, and leadership
5. Learn to sustainably scale your business for long-term success!
Program Timeline:
Applications Due: July 19
First Class: Wednesday, August 28
Last Class: Wednesday, November 13
Program Requirements:
Businesses must be currently selling product
Can attend in person in East Garfield Park, Chicago each week
Suggested: At least one year into business
Suggested: Minimum $50k in annual revenue

Jamhal Johnson, Owner of Moor's Beer
Jamhal is a graduate of the G2M (Go to Market) program. He is the owner of Moor’s Beer and his product is in over 275 locations throughout Chicago. Moor’s Beer pays homage to the rich untold history of African ancestry and the “Original Craftsmen” that made it happen. Here’s what he had to say about his experience in the program:

Genesis Bencivenga, Co-Founder/CEO of Lorenzo’s Frozen Pudding
Genesis is a graduate of Good Food Accelerator’s G2M (Go to Market) program. Lorenzo’s Frozen Pudding creates a gourmet, locally-sourced frozen pudding with various flavors, including but not limited to the Original Southern-Style Banana Pudding, Hawaiian Pineapple Pudding, and a Strawberry Pudding named Schnooka’s Strawberry Pudding. There are currently 13 flavors available. Here’s what she had to say about her experience in the program:
